It is a construct, which we have created for ourselves long long time ago and which we double check too rarely. The well known effect of self-fulfilling prophecy is one of its effects. This construct contains several aspects. One of it is the definition about giving and taking between us and others. Some people consider themselves as a rather needy person and concentrate strongly on what they can get and how they can get. Others sense a strong drive to give, some out of love and abundance, others out of a supposed duty. No matter whether your construct provides more positive or more negative effects for you: As long as it is a construct <!--more-->you are not free to perceive the current reality and thus to decide appropriately.
