the universe of the other

We can assume that every person lives inwardly in his or her own universe. Everyone has a certain unique mindset about his/her own being, about the world, about what life is about, about what is supposed to happen and what not, and thus what behavior is appropriate. This mindset is not built up consciously but it has built up by experiences and impressions. It is neither wrong nor right, but it is not universally valid. So, if you really want to meet someone, the first step would be to try to see his/her universe.

How open are you for it?

What would you need in order to be open for it?

What would you – from the perspective of your own universe – not want to see?
