Do you also belong to these kind of people, that have learned in childhood or youth about anger and fury not being good? And even as adults we maintain this believe, because the only alternative we could imagine is acting out anger and fury. And this – as we all know – causes emotional and maybe even physical damage. No one is after that. Thus we stop anger and fury right at their emergence. We suppress it rather than allowing ourselves to own the feeling and to try to show it to our counterpart in a way that doesn´t cause damage. This suppression doesn´t actually dissolve the energy but redirects it to all kinds of states and behaviors, e.g. emotional rigidification, attempts for perfection, shopping frenzy, fast driving, eating and drinking habits and many ways more.
