decision criteria

Let´s look at situations where it is about deciding for a profession or a job or at situations where it is about making a decision within the area of responsibility at your job. If we categorize possible criteria for these decisions, we could build the following 3 categories:

–          Criteria regarding meeting expectations of others, e.g. “What´s the boss looking at?”

–          Criteria regarding avoiding personal disadvantages or gaining personal advantages, e.g. “How much work would this entail for me?”

–          Criteria regarding the essentials in life, e.g. “What difference could be achieved by it?”
