It might be familiar to you: While we have responsibilities, objectives and tasks in our professional responsibility or in a management position – and that´s already demanding – things show up that make this activity more difficult, affect them or us, e.g. a dispute with a colleague, a customer complaint, an unplanned business trip, a restructuring, etc. This difficulty annoys us, is getting on our nerves, spoils the day – that’s understandable. And this response does not make it any easier. Therefore, the question arises: What can we do regarding our attitude to these events to make it easier for us? Even with all appreciation of the difficulty we may allow ourselves a little curiosity: E.g. what would happen to your day when you define “dealing with my duties under difficult conditions” as your task?… Or when you see “dealing with difficult conditions during the normal tasks” as a normal part of your job?…
