Being in a difficult situation we often feel a sense of narrowness, narrowness in time, narrowness in options, narrowness in expectations of the environment, etc. If you are able to use your visual imagination, you can try to imagine the restricting factors in a difficult situation spatially:

What is “located” around me?

How close is it to me?

How much space am I having?

What happens, if I imagine moving these restricting factors a bit further away from myself?

How far away feels good to me?

What happens, if I allow myself to stay with this imagined space for a moment?
